Overview

CWB209 is our ceiling panel range: a wood-plastic composite board offered as a 300x9mm ceiling strip for batten and linear ceilings, or as a 3000x300mm module for grid and lay-in systems. Both share the same composite core and matte wood-grain finish, so a project keeps one look across corridors, washrooms and covered outdoor soffits.

The benefit on ceilings is weight and moisture behavior. A 9mm composite strip is light on the grid, will not swell or stain like a gypsum or timber lining in humid service areas, and can be removed and refitted for access to services. Panels arrive pre-finished, so ceiling works close out without a painting trade.

Installation

Set the ceiling grid or batten frame level, with a 400mm module spacing.

Fix primary and secondary carriers and check the diagonal dimensions are equal.

Lay or clip panels into the frame, keeping the joint lines aligned throughout.

Lift out panels at access points, then refit them once services are tested.

Packing & Loading

20 strips per carton, 3005x310x210mm, roughly 17kg per carton.
Edge boards and foam spacers protect panel faces during sea transport.
About 2800 m2 per 20ft container and 5600 m2 per 40HQ.

Loading & documents

We photograph every container during loading and send the packing list before the vessel sails.

Choose 300x9mm strips for linear and batten ceilings, where a tight repeated line is wanted. Choose 3000x300mm modules for grid or lay-in ceilings that need access above the ceiling for ducts and services.

Yes. Water absorption is below 0.8%, so the panels do not swell or stain in humid service areas. In wet rooms keep the panel above splash zone level and run ventilation as normal.

For covered outdoor ceilings such as canopies, arcades and terraces, yes. Avoid fully exposed locations where panels receive direct sun and driving rain, or confirm the exposure with us first.

We supply matching clips, trims and edge profiles with the panels. Standard metal grid and carriers can also be quoted on request so a project receives panels, fixings and accessories in one shipment.
